Kansas City’s best Royals fan plays in the fountains

  • Living the dream at the K.

Sometimes at the ballpark, you have to make your own fun. Last night’s Royals game was a quintessential lopsided laugher. The Royals dismantled the Twins in a 13-0 rout behind Jeremy Guthrie’s masterful 4-hit complete game shutout. Games like that can get a little boring for fans in the stands. But this Royals fan found a way to keep herself entertained by hanging out in the famed outfield fountains at the K. This is better than a fan jumping into the drink for a home-run ball. This is an act of a fan just enjoying herself in a creative way with no motive other than fun.

Information about the fan is scarce, but another fan at the game posted a bunch of photos of the woman splashing around and casually chilling on a raised feature in the water. Sitting out there at the ballpark, wet and cool on a muggy summer night, sipping a drink, watching her home team get a big win… She is basically a living Springsteen song. Police took her away after a while. But she is without a doubt an amazing Royals fan, and she’s my personal hero. More pictures from Imgur using SDBasscreature and video after the jump.
