Watch this video of a KCPD officer stopping a man from jumping off a bridge
On the night of September 28, KCPD Sgt. Steven Griswold was dispatched to assist a broken-down car on Interstate 470. When he arrived, the driver attempted to jump 60 feet off the overpass. Griswold snagged him at the last second and pulled him back to safety. (The man is now at a hospital, where his mental health is being evaluated.)
