Friday night was a fine night for fans of “redneck rock ‘n’ roll,” as Jason Isbell put it toward the end of his set at Providence Medical Center Amphitheater. Three separate tours — Isbell and his 400 Unit, Turnpike Troubadours, and Old 97’s — converged for what might just have been the best bill of country, Americana, roots, and red dirt  you’ll see anywhere this summer.
