Queen with Adam Lambert is coming to the Sprint Center this summer; Temples to play Mills Record Company
Obviously there is no replacing the greatest singer of all time in Freddie Mercury, but the remaining original members of Queen have felt for several years now that American Idol contestant Adam Lambert has the chops to do Freddie justice. See the pairing in person at the Sprint Center on Sunday, July 9. It is Queen’s first appearance in Kansas City since 1982.
Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, February 3, via AXS.

And in a nice score for Mills Record Company (4045 Broadway), British psychedelic-inspired rock act Temples will play an in-store concert on Saturday, February 18, ahead of the release of its sophomore LP, Volcanoes. Admission is guaranteed with an in-store pre-purchase of the album. You know you are overdue for a trip to the record store anyway.
