Green Day, a Perfect Circle, and Foreigner with Cheap Trick all headed to KC

Announcements are coming out in a flurry this morning. The first comes from Green Day, hitting the Sprint Center on August 11 on its “Radio Revolution Tour,” a nod to an album of the same name released last October. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, January 13, at 10 a.m., via Green Day’s website.

Then comes word that a Perfect Circle, the supergroup featuring Maynard James Keenan (Tool, Puscifer), Billy Howerdel (Ashes Divide), James Iha (Tinted Windows, ex-Smashing Pumpkins), Jeff Friedl (Puscifer, the Beta Machine) and Matt McJunkins (Eagles of Death Metal, the Beta Machine), is booked at Starlight April 19. Tickets for that one also go on sale Friday, at noon, via Live Nation.

Finally (at least for now), there’s word that Foreigner and Cheap Trick are coming to Starlight on August 15, as part of Foreigner’s 40th-anniversary tour. Four-packs of tickets are available, starting at $79. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, via Starlight’s website
