Bruno Mars, New Kids on the Block with Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul: four acts, two Sprint Center shows

Two announcements of massive pop proportions dropped this morning. First, Bruno Mars is headlining the Sprint Center on August 9, as part of his 24K Magic World Tour. The Kansas City stop is one of 43 in this country alone. Mars’ new album, 24K Magic, comes out this Friday. 

Tickets for Mars’ show go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, November 21, via LiveNation. 

Also announced this morning: a ’90s mega-throwback gig on June 16, featuring New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men and Paul Abdul, because … because. The Total Package Tour marks Abdul’s first road shows in 25 years. Boyz II Men most recently appeared in Kansas City last month with the KC Symphony. 

Tickets for that triple bill go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 19, via LiveNation.
