With No KU, South Regional Tickets As Cheap As They Come

The Sweet 16 starts today and the South Region of the tournament is going to be fun to watch. The teams that are left in this region are the 1st seeded Florida Gators, the 4th seeded UCLA Bruins, the surprising 11th seeded Dayton Flyers, and the 10th seeded Stanford Cardinals. Unfortunately, the Kansas Jayhawks will not be participating any further in the South bracket, as they were bounced from the tournament last Sunday by Stanford. A matchup against Dayton certainly would have been appealing for KU, but they will need to wait until next year and watch these four teams continue on in the South Regional.

Dayton will match up against Stanford in the first game of the evening, beginning at 7:15pm. Both teams success fully navigated their four team portion of the bracket, with Dayton knocking off Syracuse and, as previously mentioned, Stanford knocking off Kansas. One of these two teams will move on to the Elite Eight so we are guaranteed to have a double digit seed in the Elite Eight this season.

Following Dayton-Stanford will be a highly entertaining matchup between Florida and UCLA. The 1st seeded Gators are the favorite to win it all for many, but the Bruins will look to knock them off and advance on at the FedEx Forum.

South Regional tickets are available from PrimeSport for as low as $18 with an average ticket price of only $101 for tonight’s games if you’re interested. If you’re looking to attend the action on Saturday, the get-in price is currently a paltry $8 with an average ticket price of only $77. Compared to the East Regional, with ticket prices soaring into the high $100’s for Sunday’s get-in price (and almost $500 for tomorrow’s games,) this is an absolute steal of a ticket and a guaranteed enjoyable experience to see some NCAA Tournament action.
