“I’m a big fan of the people on [WHB] 810. If they were to be proud of Stealing First, it would make my day. I would love to have Guido go on Jason Whitlock’s show and be interviewed. He would give him a worthy sparring partner.”
— Ron Simonian, creator of Stealing First, when asked if it bothers him that 810, the parent station of KCTE 1510, has yet to promote his show.

“I don’t want people thinking we’re bashing the Royals. I love the Royals and baseball in general. I’m in three different Fantasy Baseball leagues. I take my son to fifteen or twenty games a season. I hate the fact that he is turning into a Twins fan. I’m going to make him a Royals fan if it’s the last thing I do. I just wish the Royals would help me out a little.”

“My six-year-old son loves to imitate the characters on the show. I make a disc of all the clean stuff in the show and give it to him. He thinks the show is about three minutes long.”
