Worst advice: Enjoy your work.
My sidekick: My wife, Kelli (and son, Keaton)
My dating triumph/tragedy: When I met my wife, Kelli, I immediately liked her. I asked her out on a second date and was surprised that she said yes. Some days, I still wonder what she sees in me. But her saying yes to a second date was the most important thing that ever happened to me.
My brush with fame: I have had a really well-known actress as a client. I was a young associate at the time, and I thought that having a famous client would happen all the time. It doesn’t.
My 140-character soapbox: I really think that this is the year the Royals are going to make the playoffs. I hope that it is. I would love to have my son grow up with a winning baseball team – like I did.
What was the last thing you had to apologize for? I had to cancel on happy hour with some good friends from high school to go to the Royals game.
Who’s sorry now? I am. The Royals lost.
My recent triumph: I opened up my own law firm after years of being at a larger firm. The Breer Law Firm LLC is located in Overland Park.
