Monty Python’s John Cleese headed to the Midland this fall

Last month, Fairway bookstore Rainy Day Books presented a talk between RDB owner Vivien Jennings and Hillary Clinton at the Midland. That format will be repeated this fall, when John Cleese — actor, writer, tall person, Monty Python’s Flying Circus co-founder — sits down for a conversation with Jennings at the Midland on Wednesday, November 12, at 8 p.m.

Tickets to the event — which dovetails with the release of Cleese’s new memoir, So, Anyway — go on sale at AXS.com and the Midland box office this Friday, August 15, at noon. It’s a reserved-seating event. Each ticket ($38.50 plus fees) gets you an autographed hardcover copy of the book.
