You’ve Got Trail

Looking for a new footpath? Check out the Fox Hollow Hiking Trail, next to the Lakeside Nature Center in Swope Park (4701 East Gregory Boulevard). Officially dedicated on June 25 — which also served as the 110th anniversary of the park — the 2-mile trail offers limestone bluffs, riparian forest and wetland valley as well as a presumably adorable litter of eastern cottontails released at the trail’s head on dedication day. Benches and a children’s arboretum are to follow, but for now it’s open to the public as is. For more information, call 816-513-8960.
