While many orchestras sit out the year’s hottest days, the chamber-music ensemble of Summerfest Concerts comes to life for four weekends in July. To mark its upcoming 20th anniversary and to give the city a much-needed reminder of warmth to come, the group performs a free concert at 5 p.m. today. Along with works by Kokai (modern) and Corelli (baroque), Summerfest offers a little Mozart (marquee ringer).
