In[Sight]: A Retrospective of the work Alex Lovell-Smith

The consistent theme underpinning Alex Lovell-Smith’s work is a fascination with reality and the interaction between photographic representation and truth. His images are imbued with a power and presence that immediately draws in the viewer and makes them question what it is that they are viewing. In[Sight] offers a cross section of two different series of work (Two Twenty Four and the series Dream State) and presents viewers with an interesting exploration of veracity and the existence of contorted reality within the photographic image.
