Monster Jam Tickets at Sprint Center This Weekend Are Well Below Tour Average
It’ll be a monster party at the Sprint Center this weekend when the venue hosts the 2015 Monster Jam Tour. Slated for four shows from Friday to Sunday, Monster Jam will feature eight monster trucks battling it out in the highly anticipated racing and freestyle competitions. Fans still searching for tickets will find relative steals in Kansas City this weekend, too, as all four events list ticket prices that are well below tour average on the secondary market.
While the Sprint Center will be just one of just nine venues across North America welcoming Monster Jam this weekend, the 19,000+ arena will likely see a full house at each of its four trucking events. The tour is set to run through the U.S. and Canada until mid-April, with Monster Jam tickets on TiqIQ averaging at $60.02 over the next three months. That price won’t be nearly as high when the tour takes over Kansas City this weekend, however.
Starting tomorrow night, the average secondary price for Friday Monster Jam tickets is $37, marking a 38.3% drop below tour average. Tomorrow’s show will be the second cheapest of the weekend, listed only slightly higher than Sunday afternoon’s average price of $32. Friday’s show boasts the cheapest get-in price of the weekend at $25.
Saturday will play host to two shows at the Sprint Center at 2pm and 7pm. The afternoon showing owns an average price of $39 while the evening performance has generated a secondary average of $46. Get-in price starts at $34 and $29, respectively. Rather fitting for a big night out on the weekend, Saturday night will be the most expensive show held during the tour’s three-day stint in Kansas City.
Considered to be one of the most well-known trucks in Monster Jam history, Grave Digger will highlight all four shows at the Sprint Center this year. It will be joined by competitors Zombie, El Diablo, Scooby Doo, Heavy Hitter, River Rat, Mechanical Mischief and Stinger.
Party in the Pit will also be available on Saturday and Sunday, running from 11am to 12:30pm on both days. The pit allows fans to meet the drivers and view the participating trucks close up before they take to the track later in the day.
With eight of the sport’s biggest and baddest trucks taking over the Sprint Center this weekend, fans in Kansas City will find notably cheap tickets prices when searching the secondary market. Monster Jam doesn’t have any tour plans in Missouri next year, so hopeful attendees are encouraged to take advantage of the deflated prices in Kansas City this weekend.
