Christopher M. Wilhite called ‘person of interest’ in kidnapping and rape case (updated)

Kansas City, Kansas, police are looking for Christopher M. Wilhite, who they’re calling a “person of interest” in a kidnapping and rape case.

The 38-year-old was last seen near Appleton City, Missouri, going northbound on KK Highway in a purple 2008 Chevrolet HHR with Kansas tags WOD-964.

KCK police’s investigation of the kidnapping, battery and rape began at 10 a.m. yesterday in the 7100 block of Splitlog. The victim was taken to a local hospital.
