Homicide investigation underway in gated community in the 5300 block of Sunset Place (updated)

Update (9:31 a.m. May 27): The homicide investigation in a gated community in the 5300 block of Sunset Place will continue for several more hours while detectives process and collect evidence, police say.

Police are now saying the homicide victim is a man in his fifties. The unnamed man owns the home in which his body was discovered. He was the only person at the residence when police arrived around 1 a.m.

Police are not releasing the man’s cause of death. More information when we know it.
