Antonio West arrested as St. Joseph police investigate 1-year-old boy’s death

Gage Koelliker‘s second birthday would have been this week. The St. Joseph News-Press reported that the 1-year-old boy died in St. Joseph last week; a parent called 911 for help, saying the boy wasn’t breathing. By the time EMTs arrived, it was too late.

St. Joseph police are investigating the boy’s death as a “criminal” matter, and an initial autopsy revealed that the infant’s death wasn’t an accident.
