How not to rob a bank

Don’t

leave your wallet at the scene, m’kay?

Albert Vincent Perkins, 39, of Kansas City, allegedly walked into the First Federal Bank at 4227 Blue Ridge Blvd. around 9 a.m.

yesterday, May

7. He placed a checking

brochure and a wallet on the counter, gave the teller a plastic bag, and told

her to give him all the $100 bills in her drawer. He left with $3,129.

The teller told law enforcement agents that Perkins seemed agitated and nervous

— so much so that he left his wallet sitting on her counter. Both the bank

teller and a customer who was in the bank identified Perkins’ photo on his

driver’s license as the bank robber.

Hate it when that happens.

Perkins was charged yesterday in federal court, in the Western District of Missouri.
