A doozy of a rumor appeared on a local forum today, posted by a frequent DJ at the Hurricane, reading as follows:
The man who owned Club 151 is now the operator. I’m DJing there tonight. I hear that the curved wall is now covered completely in mirrors and there are 6 plasma screens hanging above the mirrors. The sound equipment for the back stage is housed in the basement and he will be taking out the windows from the Broadway side of the building and replacing them with garage doors. Later, the old Aquarius will be added to the compound. I’ll report my findings.
