The Prince of Darkness is pissed at the Westboro Baptist Church

performed a version of Ozzy Osbourne‘s “Crazy Train” in response to a question by the press. And the Prince of Darkness isn’t too happy about it.

“I am sickened and disgusted by the use of ‘Crazy Train’ to promote messages of hate and evil by a ‘church,'” said Ozzy in a press release, referring to the iconic song off 1980’s Blizzard of Ozz. (Maybe he can give Kansas City a piece of his mind when he comes here with Slash, on January 22, to the Sprint Center.)

Usually, when the Phelps family reappropriates songs, they’re really, really bad parodies filled with hate-filled lyrics. This time, they used Ozzy’s song, straight-up. Hmmm. Could Shirley Phelps-Roper possibly be…a metal fan?

We can only hope.
