The Decemberists are coming to the Uptown in February

The Decemberists are playing the Uptown on February 7 in support of the band’s forthcoming record, The King Is Dead. (The album itself comes out on January 18.) They’re joined by Gillian Welch, another uniquely-voiced songstress. (We reviewed her show in Omaha with Bright Eyes this summer. Read it here.) Mountain Man — a woodsy, Bennington, Vermont-based group of three girls — opens, too.
