Steely Dan hits Kansas City in August [Updated]

UPDATE, Tuesday, March 15, at 10:11 a.m.: Tickets go on sale to the public beginning Saturday, March 19, at 10 a.m., and can be purchased through KCStarlight.com, the Starlight Theatre Box Office or charged by phone at 1-800-776-1730.

Ticket prices are $35, $55 and $85. A limited number of Producer’s Circle seats are available for $250.

Steely Dan will hit Starlight Theatre on Thursday, August 25, on the band’s Shuffle Diplomacy Twenty Eleven tour.

This year’s tour will showcase greatest hits and deep cuts, and certain cities will feature performances of complete albums plus fans voting online to determine a night’s set. (Hmm. No word yet on whether that’s us.) Walter Becker and Donald Fagen have announced this year’s program that will also include special guests: Acclaimed jazz artist Sam Yahel is onboard as the tour’s main support act.
