Incoming: Thomas Function at the Replay, October 10
As Paste reported yesterday, Huntsville, Alabama band Thomas Function is set to release In the Valley Of Sickness, its second full-length and Fat Possum debut, on October 13.
They’re Goner faves, having released an album on Alive that’s nearly impossible to find on vinyl anymore, and I’ve been hearing that I need to see them for the past year. I suppose that chance comes on October 10, when they play the Replay in Lawrence. You can find another track off In the Valley Of Sickness, “Ew Way Ew,” on the Fat Possum 7″ Record Store Day four-way split, along with tracks from Wavves, Preacher Man, and Crocodiles.
Anybody remember when Fat Possum just put out R.L. Burnside records?
