NME and Aversion both report that Britain’s Royal Mail will release a set of classic album cover stamps on January 7. The list is as follows:

Blur – Parklife

the Clash – London Calling

Led Zeppelin IV

New Order – Power, Corruption & Lies

Primal Scream – Screamadelica

the Rolling Stones – Let It Bleed

Coldplay – A Rush Of Blood To The Head

David Bowie – The Rise & Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars

Mike Oldfield – Tubular Bells

I’m going to say that this is way cooler than Elvis stamps, but not as cool as the Star Wars stamps that the US Postal Service did.
