Video: the Runaway Sons, “Loud, Louder, Loudest”

There are times when I wonder if the Runaway Sons are being purposefully ignored around Kansas City (not by us — we love ’em). They’ve managed to weather the loss of singers and drummers several times over, in addition to a name and style change (they were formerly the Graveyard Nightmares), yet still come back rocking just as hard each and every time.

Their sound is a more garage rock version of the Bronx, and I’ve yet to see these kids not play a show that wasn’t a knock down, drag out rock fest. Still, it seems that they’ve never really blown up the way they oughtta. They just put up a slew of songs from a recent performance, and you would do well to entertain yourself by viewing them.
