Roman Numerals are in Captivity
That is, they’re in Captivity, a movie coming out June 22 starring Elisha Cuthbert, torture, evil, and the song “Rule of V” by the Nooms.
I asked how they scored the deal, and Num’rals head coach Steve Tulipana replied, “We have management that actively works to place our material in film and television. We were also on the GAP’s in-store playlist a few months back.”
Locals should remember this isn’t Tulipana’s first brush with Hollywood — his band Season to Risk was shot playing a club in the 1995 film Strange Days, starring now-rocker Juliette Lewis and Ralph Fiennes’ American accent. I can’t find a relevant clip online. Tulipana remembers, “We tried so hard to get the out take footage we shot for Strange Days. We shot for two weeks. There was tons of stuff not used. One scene where Angela Bassett actually shoved me to the ground. It was hot!!!”
Guess we’ll have to settle for the original video for “Rule of V,” directed Bob Moczydlowsky.
