For a while there, Omaha’s It’s True was starting to feel a little like a local band. Seemed like it was bringing its sprawling, melodic rock jams to a venue in Kansas City, Lawrence, or Columbia every couple of weeks. The band even released a split 7″ record with Lawrence’s Cowboy Indian Bear a few months back. Things were looking up.
