Join the Soul Train at the Brick on Saturday night

As if there wasn’t enough for you to do this Saturday night, there’s a Super Soul Dance Party going down at the Brick. For those of you old enough to remember the wildly popular soul review show Soul Train (or young enough to enjoy some good booty-grinding), DJ Lady Panther will be dusting off old vinyl LPs of artists who performed on Soul Train between 1970 and 1979. Kansas City’s very own incarnation of host Don Cornelius (Al Burnes, baby) will make what is sure to be an uncanny appearance. A locking contest shakes out at midnight, and a Soul Train line will be ridin’ through the bar all night long.

Oh, and don’t forget to bust out those bell bottoms and button-downs we know you have hiding in your closets — prizes will be awarded for best dressed.
