James Ivy, KCMO homicide No. 13: 31-year-old shot, killed Saturday night

The homicide death count kept climbing over the weekend. James Ivy became Kansas City, Missouri’s 13th homicide of 2011.

Around 9 p.m. Saturday, Ivy, 31, was shot to death behind a home at 33rd and Olive. Police are still looking for suspects.
