Now hiring: The Pitch needs a part-time Web editor

The Pitch, Kansas City’s award-winning weekly newspaper and second-largest news site, is looking for a part-time online editor.

The position, which is 10 hours a week, mixes writing, editing, traffic

analysis, content and social-media management, and other tasks. The ideal candidates will have professional

experience in some of those areas and a passion for all of them. Familiarity with HTML and blogging platforms required. (Additional freelancing opportunities may also be available.)
