9-year-old girl hit, killed by school bus in KCK
A child was hit and killed by a school bus near 67th Street and Parkview Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.
Fox 4 reports the bus was on its way to pick up children for school. KMBC Channel 9 reports the bus was loaded with children.
Update: KMBC Channel 9 reports that it was a 9-year-old girl who was struck by the school bus. However, it’s no clear whether the girl was boarding or exiting the bus or ran out in front of it and was hit.
Update II: The 9-year-old girl was dead when Kansas City, Kansas, police arrived on the scene of the bus accident at 66th Street and Parkview Avenue at around 8:20 a.m. KCK police say there circumstances of the accident are still unknown and their investigation continues. The child’s name has still not been released.
