Kansas City Royals worth $351 million, also one of baseball’s ‘biggest’ welfare recipients

Don’t weep for David Glass. While the former Wal-Mart baron’s shitty baseball team is worth just a measly $351 million (No. 26 on Forbes’ list of Baseball’s Most Valuable Teams), Glass is still clearing an operating profit of $10 million.
Of course, the most valuable baseball team is the New York Yankees at $1.7 billion. Not even the Boston Red Sox can touch them ($912 million). The Royals are worth more than the Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays, Oakland A’s and Pittsburgh Pirates.
