Raymond Pettaway shot and killed in front of children; 12 homicides in KCMO in 2011

UPDATE: The Star reported that 28-year-old Raymond Pettaway was the man shot to death at 28th and Bales early Thursday morning. According to the report, Pettaway crashed a party and started fighting a man when he was asked to leave. Another person reportedly intervened, and Pettaway was shot. His body was found on stairs leading from a porch to a backyard.
