We now know how Spring Hill football player Nathan Stiles died. Stiles died from a rebleed of a subdural hematoma suffered in a previous game, the Star reported this afternoon.
The 17-year-old died
after suffering an injury during an October 28 football game after he reportedly
intercepted a pass and took a hit. Stiles came out of the game, told an
assistant coach that “my head is really hurting” and then collapsed. He
was airlifted to the University of
Kansas Medical Center where he died in the early hours of October 29.
