KCK cops arrested, under FBI investigation for “misconduct”

There are still very few details, but expect them to be interesting when they come from Kansas City, Kansas, where the FBI has detained several police officers and, at the behest of the police chief there, is investigating misconduct by officers in the department’s high-profile SCORE unit.

It’s unclear what the officers are accused of and when they might be formally charged, and it was unknown late Tuesday night whether they had spent the night in jail. If they did, the cops — whose unit worked violent crimes in KCK’s roughest neighborhoods — would have required special attention by jail staff.
