Dusty Peoples accused of stabbing, killing Michael Goodrich in McDonald’s parking lot

Dusty Peoples and Michael Goodrich got in a fight over marijuana last November, according to court records. The two brawled in the parking lot of a Raytown McDonald’s, trading punches. Peoples, 18, is accused of pulling out a switchblade and slashing Goodrich in the chest, according to a witness.

“Take me to the hospital,” Goodrich told his friends. “This fool cut

me.”

Goodrich was rushed to Research Medical Center on November 18. Six days later — on the night

before Thanksgiving — the 19-year-old died from his wounds.
