Christopher L. Feitz charged with second-degree murder in the death of his father, Ronnie L. Feitz

Jackson County prosecutors charged Christopher L. Feitz with second-degree murder in the death of his father, Ronnie L. Feitz.
Police found Ronnie Feitz, 56, dead inside his home at 507 N.W. Ivy Place in Lee’s Summit on January 21. He was last seen alive by friends in the late hours of January 18.
When police found Feitz’ body, he was wearing the same clothes that he had worn on the last day he was seen alive.
An autopsy revealed that Feitz had died from “multiple blunt force trauma.” He was struck at least five times in the head, which caused skull fractures and brain injuries. His ribs were broken, and he had defensive wounds to his hands.
