Man threatens to kill wife, eat her heart and then kill himself. Fails to follow through on all three

If someone stabs you, don’t stick around. There’s probably a good chance that they’ll do it again. A Kansas City woman told police Sunday that her husband had stabbed her earlier in the day and was going back for his knife. But first, he went for a hammer.

The attacker — described as a 46-year-old white

male — was supposedly mad because a woman he had brought to his home in the 2800 block of East 10th Street claimed he had “been coming onto her,” the Star reported. Fessing up wasn’t in the plan. So he went for his tool box, grabbed a hammer and hit his 48-year-old wife in the back of the head. Then he went to the kitchen, grabbed a butcher knife, poked the woman in the chest and told her that he was going to kill her, eat her heart and then kill himself.
