Michael Williams and Deborah Weiss accused of killing ex-cop, burying him in shallow grave

A husband and wife have been charged with killing a former law-enforcement officer and burying his body in a shallow grave in Wichita.

Michael Williams, 37, and Deborah Weiss, 48, are facing first-degree murder charges for allegedly killing Sean “Chris” Putnam during a late-December argument, the Wichita Eagle

reported. Witnesses told police that the argument was over drugs and money, but police weren’t able to corroborate those claims.
