Yuri Ives met his suspected teenage killer through a Craigslist personal ad

Yuri Ives met his teenage killer on Craigslist. The court records are discreet enough not to say what Ives and his alleged killer, 17-year-old Ali Cubba, discussed, but they do allege that Cubba’s intentions weren’t pure.

The body of the 48-year-old realtor was found in his renovated Northeast neighborhood mansion Monday night. Ives died from multiple gunshot wounds and cuts. Court documents say a second suspect, 18-year-old Zachary Kimbrell, told

authorities everything they wanted to

know about the slaying. Kimbrell told detectives that he drove Cubba to

Ives’ home so he could rob him. Cubba had met Ives through a Craigslist personal ad.
