80 homicides in Kansas City, Missouri. Passenger shoots, kills man who gave him ride

Kansas City, Missouri’s homicide rate hit 80 this morning after a man was found dead inside a vehicle at 33rd and Agnes, and it’s a weird story.

A witness told police that he was riding in the car with the victim and the suspect. The victim was driving and the suspect was riding shotgun. The suspect wanted to go to a house on Benton Boulevard near 33rd Street. The victim took the suspect to the address, and the suspect went inside a house, came out, shot the driver of the car and took off running.
