Wendell Woods’ streak of being a disruptive dick at the federal courthouse is alive

Wendell Woods didn’t make any friends during his sentencing hearing Monday at the federal courthouse, especially with U.S. District Judge Kathryn Vratil. According to the Star, Woods mouthed off to the judge — and that might get him sent away for a long, long time.

The 29-year-old reportedly pleaded guilty in September to assaulting security officers and deputy U.S. marshals during a March 2010 incident at the federal courthouse. He also pleaded guilty to possessing an illegal sawed-off 9 mm rifle. If he didn’t have a reputation for being combative already, Woods sealed it by fighting with Kansas City police officers — biting one and claiming he had AIDS (he doesn’t).
