Bobbie Jo Geveshausen videotapes sexual abuse of her 16-year-old daughter, gets 58 years in prison

Bobbie Jo Geveshausen liked to videotape her boyfriend, Edward D. Shockey, sexually abusing her 16-year-old daughter. And sometimes, the 43-year-old woman liked to join in.

For that, she’ll be serving 58 years in prison — a sentence that ignores the Missouri Sentencing Advisory Commission’s recommendation of probation.

“It is difficult to imagine

the depravity of a mother who would willingly engage in the sexual abuse

of her own daughter,” Platte County prosecutor Eric Zahnd said in

a statement. “I can think of no one-other than our state’s

Sentencing Advisory Commission-who would recommend probation for such

unspeakable crimes.”
