GOP to meet at golf club to ponder disconnect with blacks

Area Republicans curious to understand the party’s lack of appeal to minorities will gather tonight at, um, a golf club north of the river.

The Clay County Pachyderms host Bev and Bill Randles, a husband-and-wife consulting team. The topic is “Race and the GOP: A New Framework.”

The event begins at 6 p.m. at Staley Farms Golf Clubhouse. Be sure to wear your plus fours.
