Sean ‘Chris’ Putnam, ex-cop, found buried in a shallow grave in Wichita

Sean “Chris” Putnam‘s body was found buried in a shallow grave in Wichita on Wednesday. The 41-year-old former law-enforcement officer is believed to have been killed in late December, and the Wichita Eagle reports that two people are being held on suspicion of first-degree murder.

KAKE in Wichita reported that Putnam was shot in the head. Authorities

believe he was killed in late December, possibly during an argument

with two roommates. Lt. Ken Landwehr of the Wichita police told the Eagle that officers were called to a South Waco home on

December 21 to work out a disturbance between Putnam and a man now

suspected of killing him.
