Shocking report says scofflaw meth users are still getting high even though it’s totally illegal

If history has taught us anything, it’s that when you criminalize something, everyone stops doing it. Take Prohibition, for example. Everyone stopped boozing because no one would think to profit from distributing a product that was now impossible to get — except through illegal means.

Indeed, humans’ respect for law and order and benevolent nature in these situations has led to the end of marijuana, heroin, crystal-meth and horse-tranquilizer abuse as we know it. Junkies are just pictures in history books now or confined to zoos.
