Jason Whitlock’s $2.1 million FOX contract could buy a lot of BBQ

Original Story (12 p.m. August 20): Take back every fat joke you’ve ever made about Jason Whitlock, everybody, because the laugh’s on us. According to SBNation’s Kansas City page, the dude will be pulling down $2.1 million under his three-year contract with FOX.

It’s been rumored that the former Kansas City Star columnist’s salary was in the six figures, far beyond any other columnist’s salary at the daily.
