Doug Tipton dies after fight outside of Kona Grill

A fight broke out at Kona Grill on the Plaza last night, and now one of the fighters is dead and police are calling the man’s death “suspicious.”

Fox 4 reports that witnesses saw three men fighting with the victim inside the restaurant sometime between 11 p.m. and midnight. The fight broke up and the three men called a cab to leave the scene — but they weren’t done partying.
