Skeeter the Chihuahua is volunteer of the month at Raymore Rehabilitation Center

Damn it, Donald Bradley. We are not made of stone. Your Star story about Skeeter the Chihuahua being named volunteer of the month at the Rehabilitation Center of Raymore warmed even our jaded, jet-black hearts.

Skeeter was homeless, lost on a Missouri Highway 58 when Jerry Jenkins rescued him. Jenkins ended up giving him to Pansy Willis because she was a dog lover.

She already had three — and wasn’t going to take another — but how

could she say no to that face? Really, there’s no way.
