Before you head out to lunch … avoid Southwest Boulevard between Summit and Pennsylvania (updated)

Update (7:26 a.m. May 27): We had a feeling that Kansas City Public Works would need more than six hours to clean all of the pigeon poop off the bridge girders on Southwest Boulevard. The city is shutting down the Boulevard between Summit Street and Pennsylvania Avenue again Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
